Diary in English♡On the 3rd of May.
It was my day off today.
I woke up later than usual, took a shower, ground coffee beans and had a nice cup of coffee. Having ground coffee is one of my favorite things to do in my days off. Then I went to the post office and sent some letters to my family and friends in Japan. When I paid the money, I heard "40 pounds please", but actually it was "14 pounds." I was disappointed by my listening skills. I can't hear the difference between "ty" and "teen" even though I've been here over 6 months. Anyway, I hope the letters will be delivered safely. After that, I went to the bank to get some money. I claimed a tax refund I paid when I received a parcel from Japan. I paid about 90 pounds even though they were my used clothes. And recently, I received a cheque from the government. I don't know how to get the money and there are 2 forms. I filled in one of them but I was not sure, so I asked a bank clerk "I'm not sure which one I should fill in." Then she said, "The other one. I can do it for you." I gave her my card, cheque and the form and she filled in it for me. She was kind.
Then I decided to walk to Hampstead heath as there was good weather. I heard the park is nice, so I wanted to go there. The area is posh and nice. I brought my camera and took some pictures of flowers and greenery. Breathing fresh air in the park was good for me to relax.
I came home and before I knew it, I fell asleep. It was no wonder I was tired as I walked a lot today. I woke up about 2 hours ago and had dinner, then I started writing this diary.
